Hi all.

I would like to ask about issue relating to steam air decoking porcedure. Generally one of the roles of steam is remove the heat of combustion of coke. I am thinking about below situation:

In the last stage of procedure we cut the steam and proceeding decoking only with air. In the case of COT will increase too much is it possible to remove heat of combustion of the coke by increase amount of air?

Regards

Increasing air flow when decoking temperature exceeds expectations is a risk that has little possible benefit. Steam is available, so add steam.
