First thing, you should know what causes your pump failure before looking for an answer.

Proper selection, installation, operation, and preventative maintenance. Regular inspection during operation.

Most of the problems are mechanical seal leakage and pump bearing replacement due to high vibration. What are the best operational practices, if we adopt then we can prolong pump failure duration. Thanks.

Parco,

Why don’t you go through the centrifugal pump troubleshooting checklist at the link provided below:

https://www.cheresou...ting-checklist/

This may help in preventing pump failures.

Ankur

Many problems are caused by two things. The first is operating the pump with a flow less than the minimum flow recommended by the manufacturer. If you operate below this value, the ensuing shaft deflection causes both bearing and seal failures. The second is pump cavitation that results from insufficient NPSH. Vibration is the result.

To me your question is too vague , Consider the links /resources attached to learn about Centrifugal pumps .

Definitely Bobby's comments are right . Being more specific you should get a better answer .

Good luck,
