Hi all~ I'd would like to know how to determine the size of header, which is located after regulator

(Check the attached file)

Also, I'd would like to know the code and the equation (that is related to determine the size of header)

I hope you give me good advice, thanks

Steptacular,

I send you related information. The pipe header diameter is almost 40".

So, now you only need to decide whether this is good advice. In the real world you need to know the flow and flowing material. That's why you have not gotten good response. Not sufficient information is provided.
