Hi all,

I am currently attempting to model a catalytic reaction using an specific catalyst in HYSYS. I have found the activation energy and pre-exponential factor from experimental data. I have never modeled a catalytic or kinetic reaction using HYSYS so I am bit stuck and am looking for some guidance.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The manuals for HYSYS on their website are pretty clear on this.  HYSYS can only handle relatively simple kinetic models.  If you have a complex model (with different forcing parameters), you will probably need Aspen Plus.
