Dear All,

I have heard Fuel Sensitivity or Octane Sensitivity . This is RON minus MON of fuel. So less sensitivity, better it is. So i want to know for heavy reformate from Refinery CCR, what can be this value ? Generally, RON is equal to MON minus 10. But for heavy reformate what is the relation. Also i want to know significance of Vapour lock index VLI.

for the VLI see, for instance

https://www.mckinsey...por-lock-index/

for RON and MON, generalized correlations have very limited use, as you can see from the attached table.

you should use plant data to avoid mistakes.

good luck!
