Dear

The total Sulfur quantity at the Heater fuel source and Flue gas is same. The SO2 concentration at Flue gas can be simply calculated/predicted based on stoichiometry calculation.

However, the SO2 analyzer show more SO2 concentration (mg/Nm3) than calculated SO2 concentration (More tan twice).

(The analyzer type is UV)

It is very hard to understand it because the sulfur quantity cannot increase or decrease at Heater.

(The Analyzer show normal SO2 concentration when operator use span gas cylinder to check the analyzer. it means that analyzer do work well. Engineer also use different calculation sheet to check SO2 concentration calculation sheet error.)

Please help to solve this situation. which section make the problem?

Regards,

What does that mean?

You provide very little (essentially no) information so it is highly unlikely that anybody can help you.

Maybe there are other components in the flue gas that interfere with the measurement?

Maybe the temperature of the analyzer is too high?

I suggest you consult the manufacturer of the analyzer.
