Hi
I am using Petrosim for simulating a naphtha hydrotreater unit. I am facing difficulties in understanding the model and the underlying reactor kinetics. This model is a custom reactor model designed specifically for naphtha hydrotreating. That is, We have to provide feed and product details (composition, flow rates) initially as the reactor has to be first calibrated and then we can use this model for predicting runs.
I know that there is very advanced reaction engineering along with regression methods involved in coding but it definitely would have theoretical underpinnings in published literature.
I would appreciate if I could get some literature which speak about these topics (like links to papers).
Thanks
