Have a question on a flow meter/totalizer that is adding totals when in the process line there is no flow or its on maintenance. The flow meter is used to measure

  • CO
  • HYDROGEN
  • NITROGEN
  • CO2
  • METHANE
  • OXYGEN

hi ,

What type of meter is it? How totalization is done ?

If you look at the manual you should get your answer and it's probably good to talk to your E&I engineer and Vendor of the instrument who is very familiar with this issue.

Good luck.

Also, that's one helluva of flowmeter you got there, that measures CO, H2, N2, CO2, CH4 and O2 all at the same time in the same line?

What's the line supposed to be? Syngas?

Almost looks like syngas, but the O2 threw me off.

Flowmeters can indeed measure gas mixtures, but your gas mixture is rather peculiar.

Anyhow, do you have a picture, video, sketch etc., of the problem you are seeing?
