Hi,

After 8 years in upstream oil and gas I have recently joined to a small chemicals company.

One area they are interested in is designing a process to make potassium formate which is a highly exothermic reaction with the potential for the formate to decompose at high temperatures.

I was hoping that the community could guide me towards the most applicable chemical plant standards and best practices for reactor design etc. and if there was anyone with information on potassium formate production.

Many thanks for your help.
