Before I try to fit analytical equations to the Balje curves for Turbo Machinery, I thought I'd ask if anyone had all ready done so.  If you don't know what they are, specific speed is Ns=N * Q^0.5 / H^0.75  and Specific diameter is Ds = 12 * D * H^0.25 / Q^0.5.  In english units, N is speed in rpm, H is head in feet, Q is flow in ft^3/unit time, D is wheel diameter in inches.

The efficiency of the turbo machinery is, by graph, a function of Ns vs Ds.  I would like to have a set of equations for use in Excel, Matlab, Python etc.
