Hi All!

I am a chemical engineering student taking final year design project and am currently designing a gas phase catalytic fluidised bed reactor. I am required to estimate the capital cost and operating cost of my reactor unit, however, I am trouble finding the cost of a fluidised bed. I currently have Turton's CAPCOST as my cost estimation program, and am thinking of approximating the cost of the reactor as the cost of a similarly sized pressure vessel. Is there a better way to approach this issue? I also require as approximation for cyclones to separate particles that are around 3mm in diameter. Is there an equipment in CAPCOST that can be used to approximate the cost for cyclones as well? Thank you!
