Dear All,

I have the Atmospheric residue defined by distillation curve as per "Bogdanov distillation, GOST 10120-71". Does anyone know how to convert this data to any standard curve like TBP, D1160 or similar to be able to input this into PRO/II? I thought it is equivalent to TBP but this is obviously not the case and the results of VDU simulation are pretty strange. Any advice on that?

Thank you!

I don't find a conversion method but I found the GOST 10120 procedure here: https://www.internet...sts/gost/37340/

Without an english translation, I don't understand the lab method. However, it may be possible to simulate the lab method itself in Pro/II and then determine what input composition is required to get your 10120 results. You would also need a standard characterization of simultaneous TBP and 10120 to calibrate the model. If I just needed a preliminary estimate, I would be tempted to just add the curve as a TBP and as a D1160 to try to get a ballpark range for the characterization and realize that the model would not be very accurate.
