Dear all,

 

Gylcol (MEG and TEG) is used for natural gas deshydration.( water removal)

once the water is absorbed by glycol, it is regenerated in reboilers to remove  absorbed water and then recycled a second time to process.

 

is it possible during glycol regeneration, acetone is formed from glycol in contact with reboiler fire tubes contact ( high temeperature) or not?
