I noticed in fired Heater we have two heaters in diesel unit
One of them has refractory 4 meter with bricks and remaining with castable but another heater only with castable.what is the difference between two refractory?

Basically selection of refractory is based on Heat absorbed and it's heat coefficient,
Castable used when Thermal expansion is not expected and bricks shall be used when thermal expansion is predicted by higher delta T in operation.
