I have a question related to the distillation column. why in the mtbe/methanol distillation column, in the bottom product there is mtbe? while the boiling point of mtbe is smaller than that of methanol
As far as I know, the separation in the distillation column based on a small boiling point will be the top product, while the high boiling point will be the bottom product.
Thanks you.

Your academic studies will eventually cover azeotropes. And, there is much more that you will learn. Be patient. And not too inquisitive at this stage. Concentrate on your studies.
