hi all,

please share any velocity criteria ( maximum and minimum) available for two phase fluid transfer long pipelines.

Two phase flow is still a mix between art and equations,, It means there is not a velocity criterios of the fluid velocity

Long pipeline decisions are made through study with software like Olga, now owned by Schlumberger.

 I agree with Bobby, calculations for pipelines should be carried on s/w like OLGA or WANDA.

 

These should not be done on spreadsheets, as there are lots of more aspects that needs to be considered while designing
