Hello everyone.

 

Is there anyone here have an experience operating pressure exchanger / energy recovery device in non-desalination application? or is it possible to apply pressure exchanger or such in non-desalination system?

 

If it's not possible, is there any constraint that won't allow the application outside desalination plant?

The question is not clear to me. Maybe you refer to turbo-expanders in gas plants? Gas is expanded for cooling and the expansion work is used to recompress the vapor stream: http://gasprocessing...-operation.aspx
