Hi,
In this assignment, I am designing a model process to produce HMF from glucose via glucose isomerization to fructose and then fructose dehydration via continuous fixed bed reactors. Can anyone suggest what might contribute to mass transfer resistance in the glucose isomerization stage of the process? Using Sweetzyme IT Extra as the catalyst. Thanks
