for reversible first order reaction integrated rate equation is

-ln[(XAe-XA/)XAe]=-ln[(CA-CAe)/(CA0-CAe)]=(k1+k2)*t

how to get from this form -ln[(XAe-XA/)XAe] to this one -ln[(CA-CAe)/(CA0-CAe)]

Hi,

your favorite search engine should be your ultimate resource.

http://myweb.scu.edu...02/L05_Ch18.pdf

Note : Ca=Ca0(1-Xa); Cae=Cao(1-Xae)

Hope this helps.
