Hello,

I am working on a jacket steam line changes. This jacket is already being used but due problems they having steam will be changed to more pressurized steam to increase holding temperature. They want to use already existing condensate lines including to ones to steam trap station.

I want to calculate if my lines from jacket outlet to steam traps are capable to deliver necessary condensate flow without steam locking or any other issues.

Due to height difference of lines and no space steam trap station is on the ground level  and horizontally placed.

Line is approximately 15 meters below with 20 meters length of piping from outlet of jacket.

Is there any references you could refer to me to check if line diameter is okay for new condensate flow.

Thanks in advance.

Enough great info to help you is shown by Breizh! Here is another handy reference first shown me by Art Montemayor, who has taught me so much through his CheResources posts:  https://www.spiraxsa...te-return-lines
