Hello,

I am currently designing a distillation column to separate acetol from an alcohol-water mixture. I am aiming for 94.5% purity of acetol. Here are the feed compositions:

- Acetol: 1.25kmol/h (HK)

-Water: 216.647kmol/h (LK)

-methanol: 0.803kmol/h

-ethanol: 0.412kmol/h

-1-propanol: 0.67kmol/h

I am struggling to choose between a kettle reboiler and a thermosiphon reboiler and cannot find much literature, which one would be more beneficial for my system?
