Hello everyone,

In an air cooler, What's the relationship between motor power and maintenance suitability. Example, an ACHE with 22 kw motors and one with 125kw motor. The one with 22kw is more suitable for maintenance but why ??

Thank you

Hi,

Take a look at this doc for power consumption.

Air cooler (outside) should be cleaned time to time to remove dirt, dust and other contaminants to recover heat transfer area.

Hi,

I found that motors larger than 37.3 kw require gears which incur additional expenses.

Hi,

another resource.

Talk to your mechanical dept. about drive, your job is about defining the thermal design and issuing a specification note for quote.

my view.
