I want to calculate how much heat is absorbed by an insulated spherical tank (containing propylene) from environment?

thanks a lot

Propylene is contained in saturation condition.

You essentially need to do heat transfer calculation for natural convection and radiation due to solar insolation.

For natural convection, get some empirical correlation to obtain the effective HTC, considering some windspeed value.

For radiation, a reasonable estimate to use is 1000 W/m2 solar input.

But if you need to do this for some long time interval, you need to do a stepwise calculation as ambient temperature and solar insolation changes over time.
