Hello everyone,

 

I want to know how to select wisely between uniform and non-uniform trays in HYSYS when configuring a CDU atmospheric rectification column. On the one hand non-uniform tray option allows configuring chimney trays, which I do need. On the other hand when switching from uniform to non-uniform tray option, some of the tray settings seem to be lost. For example, non-uniform tray doesn't allow configuring the number of passes for a tray. What is the underlying logic in selecting uniform/non-uniform tray configuration?
