Dear Team members,

Instrument air dryer uses adsorbent  Alumina for removal of moisture designed for 100 % humidity & 45 Deg C  With lower humidity and feed temperature at 35 Deg C whats is impact on performance respect to dew point and capacity of the dryer.

With regards

Consider this document to perform calculation about air, it should help .Another option could be Mollier Chart.

Did you try AI? You will be amazed.

  • Dew point: Likely same or better (lower) at 35 °C and lower RH than at 45 °C/100% RH, assuming regeneration is unchanged.

  • Capacity:

    • Water removal rate (kg/h) decreases because the inlet air carries less moisture.

    • Effective capacity in terms of time at spec dew point increases—the dryer will stay “in spec” longer per cycle.
