I did quite a lot of research about self-cleaning filtration systems and, as far as I understood, the best way to separate a 1% of melted hot melt glue from a 2% caustic soda solution, is a vertical centrifuge.
The fact is that quite many kind of glue have a specific weight of 1 (1ton per cubic meter) while the caustic soda solution is 1,02 and the difference isn't much.
Any advise or previous experiences data are really appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

A little more data:
hot melt glue to be separated from liquid = 1%
Hot melt glue softening point = 75°C
Hot melt melting point = 130°C
Temperature of liquid (caustic soda solution) = 85°C
Flow rate 4000 lt/hour (1100 gal/hour)

What happens if the temperature of the caustic soda solution is lowered to room temperature before filtration? Is the hot melt glue solid and filterable?
