Sorry, but I will have to post a reply that has been posted many times before: more information is needed - what precisely is the problem you are trying to solve?

I'm sure a search using Google would turn up thousands of hits. There have got to be hundreds of books containing information about distillation. A good place to start is whatever university notes you have on the subject, which is certainly one of the first places I'd look.

If you could supply a little more information about the problem, I'm sure people will try to help. Something along the lines of 'I've got a feed stream containing x components with this composition and this flowrate, entering at a pressure of y and a temperature of z, and I'm looking to obtain a given purity in the overheads etc" is the kind of information that is needed.

On the other hand, if some suggested reading is all you're looking for, tell us more about what you are looking for, and again, I'm sure someone can help.

Try the "NORTON" web site, but I advise you to read the "Applied Process Design For Chemical and Petrochemical Plants" by Ernest E. Ludwig

Noora, I think a better place to look would be in your textbooks.
