Hi I've got this assignment to do..But it's actually more industrial so I thought I'll put it in this section:

Your research manager is interested in exploring the use of mixed conducting (both electronic and oxygen-ion conducting) membranes for performing combustion processes in energy generation. Any project would be high profile as the flue gases from the hydrocarbon side of the membrane would be CO2-rich and could be used for CO2 recycling. The company would use the project to generate publicity for its 'green' image.
you are expected to:
1. choose appropriate materials for the membrane,Would catalysts be required?
2. indicate how the membrane could be fabricated providing a rough estimate of cost.
3. would you recommend that tests be performed on a laboratory scale?

Any recommendations?
I'd so much appreciate it..

Thanks smile.gif
