Are there any guidelines or specifications for design of pipeline pig launcher/receiver? What I am looking for is a list of points (specification) for the design of pig launcher/receiver. I was not able to see anything specific related to this in ASME B 31.8. I wonder if I have missed it in B 31.8. Thanks in advance.

Dear All,
I am working exactly on the same assignment i.e. "Designing of Pig Decoking System " for our furnaces. Can anyone share design specifications of complete Pig Decoking system.

It would also be help full if you provide specifications of decoking system of an existing plant.
