Hi, I am new at this forum but it would be nice if someone could help me out with a question I have. For my master thesis on carbon capture and storage, I am trying to get insight in the development of amine scrubbers. For post combustion flue gas CO2 capture from natural gas and coal fired power plants, scrubbing with monoethanolamine is the technology most likely to be used.
By looking at the historical development of amine scrubbers I want to see if there is a trend in the energy rerquirement for solvent regeneration and the CO2 capture ratio. If possible I want to apply the learning curve theory (log-linear relation between the two factors discussed above and the cumulative capacity of amine scrubbers).
My question is if anywone knows how to get data (literature suggestions etc) on the historic development of amine scrubbers for CO2/H2S removal for example for gas sweetening and the related energy consumption and capture ratio of these systems?
