I encountered a troublesome problem while developing a new drilling fluids system for my company.
Our regular blend was in the following sequence. (Which worked fine)
Oil
Emulsifiers
Lime
Water
Glycerin
Clay
We are developing a solids free turbulent flow drilling fluid system and on the seconds blend we cut out the water which resulted in a regular emulsion.
My question is this: When encountering a flipped emulsion what can be done or what chemical can be used to reflip it into an invert emulsion???
Any inputs would be helpful!!!
