I have property data for a hydrocarbon mixture - specific heat, vicosity, thermal conductivity. I need to calculate the maximum film temp this fluid can reach before bad stuff (coking etc.) starts to happen.

Runnning a simulation of the fired heater gets:

Flow Film T
5700BPD 878oF
6300BPD 851oF

But how do I know if 878 is too high?

Help is greatly appreciated.
