It seems the United Nations were formally advised of their mistakes on the subject in December of last year. Please refer to the attached news release.

However, the popular press never got around to telling the public about the current opinions of at least 100 world scientists who have gone on record (in writing) to publicly admonish the UN and others on propagating non-scientific based information on Global warming. According to them, there is no such thing.

Now I start to understand where the recent phrase (or term), "Climate Change" has arisen. I guess its all a matter of what words, mirrors, or smoke you employ to justify tax increases, penalties, or fines that go into the political cash register.

Are we also to understand that we are no longer on a Global Warming and are now embarked on a Climate Change instead? What dreaded scenario is next? Does this mean that Al Gore's Nobel Price is now revoked? When we can have politicians playing junk scientists, anything can happen. If this wasn't so embarrassing, it would be funny.

Global warming and climate change is same drink in two different bottle. O.K. global warming is real and climate change is also real. So people are working on it. Carbon trading is also happening. Creating awareness will make people realise and contribue to do more greens by planting. Responsible people are involved in this and coming out with suitable remidial measures to be implemented.

The real scandal is the scaremongering that is going on. If we are facing global catastrophe, can't we (the UN?) spent the relatively paltry sum that would lead to an understanding of the problem, and perhaps even suggest solutions? Let's not talk about solutions that would cost trillions upon trillions when we haven't done the needed R&D that would cost small fractions of the implementation costs.
