My company is looking to switch to a new software package for assisting with basic oil & gas facility engineering calculations. The ideal program would be easy to use and be able to handle equipment and line sizing along with basic property predictions. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Wayne:
What software do you have now, and what is it that you are lacking?
What do you call a basic oil & gas facility? Are you referring to downstream or upstream operations? Well head facilities? Tank Battery facilities? Pumping Stations? Compressor Stations? Pipelines? Topping Units? Etc.?
What kind of calculations are you referring to? Process calculations, civil, mechanical, etc? Please be specific as to the type and purpose of the calculations.
What kind of equipment sizing are you referring to? Vessels, tanks, pumps, compressors, separators, etc.?
