Art:

Happy Birthday!! But you've got 14 more years to go to catch up with me. I didn't know that you were a Texas Aggie, which merits another star next to your name. I am also an Aggie, class of 1944.

Best regards,

Milt Beychok

Milton:

Thank you very much for the kind words. You have nothing to worry about; it's going to take a lot more than just 14 years to catch up with a guy like you. It'll take a lot of brain cell generation and smarts just to get to your neighborhood - much less catch up with you.

It's a special honor to receive a note from an "'Ole Army" Aggie that's from the era of "We've never been licked!" (the 1943 movie made about Texas A&M and it's traditions). Your era at Texas A&M left a lot of fond and great achievements on campus, in industry, and on the battlefields of World War II that are still talked about. We, who followed you, were always aware that we were treading on solid footprints ahead of us.

I hope to have the pleasure to meet and share a shot (or better, a bottle) of the best Tequila with you one of these days.

Regards & Gig 'Em
