Dear All,
Is there any API/ISO/other standard for Amine sweetening or Acid Gas Removal from Natural Gas? Any suggestions from my learned colleagues.

Hello Ankur,
As far as I know, there is no standard which addresses this kind of concerns. Apart from engineering practices, guidelines, or confidential technical information owned by process licensors, I think there is no need for separate standard - because all design cases have something different and specific: whether it is related to process conditions, levels of tretment severity, contaminants present in the system, required unit availability etc.

Dear Zauberberg,
There is an API standard (or more correctly a specification) for "Glyol-Type Gas Dehydration Units" which is numbered as API Spec 12GDU. I am looking for something on similar lines. The glycol dehydration is also a very specific process and different package vendors have their own set of design and operating parameters. Similarly I am trying to find out if something exists for amine sweetening. If, there isn't such a standard then I guess I probably have to live with it.
Regards,
Ankur.
