This afternoon i found out that my Lube oil for the recip compressor is having water content / moisture of 2100 ppm.
Can this oil still be used?
This oil has just been filled in a week ago.

Dear You must refer to the
Recommended Specification of Compressor manufaturer in the first place regarding maximum acceptable/permissible water/moisture contents.
Also check the supplied lube base oil Quality Certificate for the water contents and if does not meet the certificate value;this might be rejected and as per required,agreed specs fresh supply to be obtained.
