Dear all,

Which TEMA type is the best suited when both fluids (both vap/liq), at P=50 barA, content H2S and H2. With that kind of gas I think leakages have to be avoided. Consequently I would choose a SS 310L NEN.

What's your opinion?

Thanks in advance.

I deleted your duplicate posting in another Forum.

What do you mean by "both fluids"? Are these the shell and tube side fluids? which is the liquid and which is the vapor? Are both at 50 barA? What leakage do you mean - between the fluids or to the atmosphere? Or both?

Yes, "both fluids" mean shell side and tube side fluids. Tube side fluid condensing, and shell side fluid boiling. Tube side fluid inlet pressure is 46 barA, and shell side fluid inlet pressure is 56 barA. I talk about leakage to the atmosphere.

Another important data: fouling factor is 0.0003 m².°C.h/kcal on shell and tube sides.
