Dear Experts

i am inevitable for using the cool air for cooling a brine water from 40oC to 5oC by air bubbling step by step(7steps).
rate of brine=25m3/h
cool air temperature=available from 0 to -10oC
stages of cooling=7 stage
rate of temperature reduction 5oC/stage
please guide me about:
1-calculation of cool air required
2-what kind of tank for bubbling is suitable? horizontal or vertical?
3-is bubbles' diameter, effective in heat exchane rate or not?
i am inevitable for using this method because the brine is mixed with tiny crystals and all other heat exchangers are not usable through of fouling problems.

thank in advance

Dear mehrdad,
Just a wild thought.

Intimate contact for such a mass transfer might be better affected though
Cooling tower(s) like packing approach in probably lesser no. of stages.

Best Regards
