Dear All,

I have to design a system to separate NH3 out of the mixture of NH3 & CO2 in the downstream of a reactor off gas. I have used water scruubing module but that does not work at all and it gives only max 12% Conc. Ammonium carbonate (NH4CO3NH4) as the quantity of NH3 is almost half of the CO2.

I have tried to use the selective membrane for CO2 but that turns out to be very expensive.

Do any one of you have good solution for it. The temperature is of the off gas is around 120 deg C and the pressure of 6 Kg/cm2.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Do a search on the forums here, there were fairly recent posts on this subject. I had some posts.
