Hi Gents,

I have never developed the Alarm/Trip Setpoints document. I want to know how high/low alarms and high high/ low low trip can be determined based on the normal operating conditions taken from the simulation. Please provide your input.
Thanks in advance.

Alarm/Trip setpoints would be determined considering process and safety requirements having smooth, integrated and safe operation.

Simulation may be used to obtain allowed deviations from normal operation values for setting the L/LL/H/HH alarm and trip points.
