Is there any interest in microchannel distillation/separations? Lab scale microchannel device can result in lower HETP by a factor of 10 compared to standard packed columns. Results with ethylene/ethane and hexane/cyclohexane have been presented at conferences. Benefits are lower energy, operating and capital costs

Hi LarryP, yes this sounds very interesting can I find out more? It may relate to a further development in my work on recovering energy from unrecycelable polyethlene.
