Hi,
I’m trying to define and design one system for remove SO2 with CuO Bed and remove/polishing H2S with ZnO reactant.
In this area I understand the mass calculations that I need (in respect with mass balances) but my main questions are in terms of the process conditions, like space velocity and/or linear velocity. Questions related with height and length of the reactor (I need some quantity of reactant), but what is the dimension (volume) of the reactor? Is the volume of reactant? Certanailly not! Where I can find this type of informations for a correct design? Like information about process typical parameters?

Regards,
Rui Bernardes

First Find adsorption realted inforamation like adsorption /area of ur CuO & adsorption rate.
Once u find this fix ur desired adsorption rate then fix residence time & accordingaly calculated
diameter of coloumn & Height.

regards
Vikram
