Does someone know how to determine the volumetric displacement and the DP of a helical screw (mixer, extruder, pump...) based on the geometric dimensions (angle, length, diameter, thread depth...) and the rpm ?
Weickert (Ind.Eng.Ch.Res. 1998,37,799-806) did provide the eqns but for a hollow shaft type of screw.
