vne,

You could just google the query: "Plate-Fin Heat Exchanger Vendors" and you will get hundreds of hits.

GEA is one such internationally known company in this field.

Regards,
Ankur.

@ Ankur,

I've checked the website of GEA http://www.gea-phe.c.../product-lines/, and it seems this guy is not manufacturer for plate-fin exchanger (it produces plate exchanger, not plate-FIN exchanger).

So far, I've collected names of 5 Alpema members. Anybody know any other famous names?

Thank you.

As far as I know, only those listed in the ALPEMA standards are manufacturers of BAHX: http://committees.ap...pemastndrds.pdf

Hi all,

Now I need to find vendor list for plate and frame heat exchanger. Again, please help me to list out name of some well-known guys in this field (then I can go to their sites to explore more info. by myself). I can google but it'll be more exact if I can get your help.

By the way, I understand that plate heat exchanger and plate and frame heat exchanger are exactly the same, please help correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you very much.

vne,

Another vendor you could consider is Heatric, who manufacture diffusion bonded compact heat exchangers. These include a plate-fin type heat exchanger product ("Formed Plate Heat Exchanger", or "FPHE"), Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers (or "PCHE"), and hybrid heat exchangers ("H²X", a hybrid between PCHE and FPHE). These are available in materials including 300 series stainless steels, 22 chrome duplex, copper, nickel, and titanium, and have a higher pressure and temperature capability than you would find in a BAHX.

Some useful links:

Hope these help,

David.
