I am interested to buy butadiene sulfone in an industrial scale. Is there any plant producing this item in Indonesia, or alternatively countries near it ?

You can get it via Sigma-Aldrich ( http://www.sigmaaldrich.com ), although this may not be on the industrial scale you are looking for...

Thanks Gvdlans, this product at sigma-aldrich was quoted at USD 100/500g. I've placed an order at merck, at only a slightly lower price. This is synthesis grade, only for lab use of course. For my mass production, I'll definitely need a much lower grade with economically acceptable price. I've read about plants producing butadiene sulfone from 1,3-butadiene and sulphur dioxide (Peters and Timmerhaus, 1991, p.857), but where are these manufacturers?

I have learnt that there are only 4 plants in the world producing butadiene sulfone (or better known as sulfolene); 1 in the US (Texas), 1 in India (Gujarat), 1 in Europe and 1 in East Asia. But I could not get more specific than that. Does anyone have access into SRI Consulting (www.sriconsulting.com) ? Please can you check which is the plant located in East Asia that SRI Consulting was referring to? I need this info asap. Thanks heaps.
