Does anyone have information on the prohibition of transporting natural gas with the hydrogen sulfide content in Germany? I heard that there was a failure of the pipeline, and since then there are restrictions on the transport of such gases. Can anyone point out an article on this topic? And are you familiar European regulations relating to the transportation of natural gas with hydrogen sulfide content?
I would be grateful for any help i nformation.

I do not know the specific regulations on H2S in Germany.  In the U.S. the standard is 1/4 grain per 100 SCF, which in more intelligible units is about 4 ppmv.  This refers to regulated pipelines.  Of course a specialized sour gas pipeline can be permitted at higher levels but then numerous safety requirements, over and above those required for normal transmission lines would be imposed, e.g., monitoring, inspection, marking, distance from populated areas etc., and also special metallurgy may then be required.

Thank's for your message. That's what I meant: "specialized sour gas pipeline." It seems that nobody has the news of the event in Germany.

The phrase "transporting natural gas from the hydrogen sulfide content" doesn't make any sense in English.

Do you mean to state "transporting hydrogen sulfide in a natural gas pipeline"?

Please clarify with correct English.  Or explain in another manner.

Yes, it was my mistake. I mean "transporting natural gas with high H2S content". My "high H2S content" is from 15 to 30 % in NG composition.
