Hey there Chemical Engineering community,

I am looking for ideas on how to remove calcium species from a solid, pulverized product without removing lithium at the same time.  The material is composed mostly of lithium carbonate, and I would like to eventually react that raw material with nitric acid to produce lithium nitrate.  Unfortunately, the amount of calcium in the end product is too high for our specifications.  Any quick ideas?

Thank you
