Dear All,

 

I'm a trainee in a margarine factory and we have a large amont of downtime because of missing cuts. The problem is when margarine is discharged from resting tube (horizontally) if the packaging paper is missing, it continues to discharging(resting tube). Do you know any kind of sensor that could integrate those two process synchronically?

Some kind of optic sensor that can distinguish between the packaging paper and the substrate (assembly line belt?) the paper is laying on?  Color, reflectance?  A picture or three may help us.
