hi all

i have a question about the storage of crude oil in a floating roof tank

we know that we have criteria for storing product in the tank

for exmple the true vapor pressur should be less thann 0.75 bar

what could happen if the TVP get higher????

2/ for a long duration of life of a linear valve it is better to receive signale for opening between 30 and 60 percent

wich part in the vanne would be dammage if we work in an other interval , does any one have a file about that,

than you!!!

process16,

For the liquids with vapor pressures up to 0.75 psia fixed roof tanks would be applied.

Floating roof tanks would be applied for the liquids with max vapor pressures of 11 psia.

Your second question isn't clear...

Look we have already a tank with fowting head, used for crude oil storage at atmosphérique pressur
and  as i said we have criteria for the storage, ( TVP between 0.1 to 0.77 bar) we have a prob in our TVP it gets higher what ccould happen in this case
